Race Day Information
Thank you for registering for the Whitman Icebreaker 5k to be held on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at 9 am! We appreciate your support and hope you will have a great time while supporting SGA's charity month initiatives.

T-shirt & Packet Pick Up:
We will offer an opportunity to pick up these materials before race day during school hours but they will also be available on race day morning, Sunday, March 26 beginning at 8 am. Please be sure to arrive no later than 15 minutes before the race to pick up your t-shirt and packet.
Registration:
If you have friends that would like to register, race day registration is available the morning of the event at Whitman between 8:00 and 8:45 am. Check or cash only, $40.
Race Day Parking:
Parking is available at Whitman High School in the main parking lot.
Race Start Times:
The 5K will begin at 9 am. We recommend you arrive approximately 45 minutes early and join us for a pre-race stretch!

Participating in a road race is potentially hazardous and I should not participate unless I am medically able. I assume all risks associated with running in this event including, but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, weather, traffic, conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the organizers of the Whitman Icebreaker 5K, Walt Whitman High School, Montgomery County Government, Montgomery County Public Schools, Race Wire, USATF, Race Director and all other sponsors, representatives, successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. I grant permission to use photographs and video or other records of this event for legitimate purposes. This event will happen UNLESS MCPS closes school activities that day. If the race is cancelled because of school closures, participants will not be issued a refund. SecureFee™ Registration Cancellation Insurance is offered in most states.
